The month of fear.

It's interesting that no matter what century you find yourself living in you still find the scary story, the goose bump thriller, the 'look behind the door' stuff fun.

Today I'll share with you a couple of the 100 word flashes I've done. It's fun to try to tell a whole story in so few words. I hope you enjoy them.

SHOPPER

Seeking a new direction in my life this ad sparked my interest.

MYSTERY SHOPPER WANTED

Being on the shy side, I was surprised I got the job. They’d provided the clients. All I had to do was shop and evaluate their services with a check list.

A woman’s dream comes true. Unlimited shopping and travel all over the world. The pay was great. The perks, although unusual, were addictive.

Five years later I quit.

I had to draw the line about the personal use of all the products.

I mean, how many spare body parts can one gal use?

Sweetie

I’ve been called a gold digger because I’m pretty and like rich, older men. Just never take me for granted as I also have a brain.

I’m a great toy in the bedroom; today I will excel in the kitchen.

The recipe for the cake I am baking has been passed down by the women of my family for generations. My 'sweetie', as I lovingly call him, has a mighty craving for sweets.

I’ll add lots of extra sugar tonight––it blends in well with the ground glass of that fake diamond ring he gave me.

The cheap SOB.

This blog looks great! Blogger blogs are fairly easy to cusomize, I think the main thing is to evaluate your needs for the blog, and decide how you want to use it and the 'feel' you want it to have.

I like both stories and I never thought about trying to write one that is only 100 words. (BTW I love writing short stories!!) I also like the twists at the end. :)
